iOS 13: To date, Apple hasn't wanted to make any changes to the iOS home screen on iPhones. Now, it has decided to change its policy and is working on a major overhaul of iOS that will include a revamped UI among other things.

The redesign will be presented to us with iOS 13, so we're talking about a whole year of waiting from now. The wait will be worth it as in addition to UI improvements, Apple is also working on a new set of features including a Files app and Apple Pencil support.

Many of the new features we'll see on iPhone with the release of iOS 13 are borrowed from iPad.

"iOS 13 comes with a major feature upgrade inspired by the iOS 13 features. iPad

", says Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.

In the meantime, before we get to the release of iOS 13, priority is given to iOS 12 which will be a softer upgrade. Apple will focus on reliability and security, so while we could get some new features, don't expect anything revolutionary this year.

For information, the Apple will unveil the next version of iOS at the WWDC conference early next month and the public release will take place in September. In the meantime. developer and public betas will have already been released, with the first build to be available shortly after the WWDC conference to be held in June.
