Aside from being owned by G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan, this BMW 850i with its V12 engine and 6-speed manual transmission is quite desirable in its own way.

Ο Michael Jordan κατείχε αμέτρητα αυτοκίνητα κατά τη διάρκεια των χρυσών του χρόνων στους Chicago Bulls τη δεκαετία του ’90. Συχνά εμφανιζόταν στο χώρο προπόνησης με νέο Porsche, Mercedes ή Ferrari, and his love of fast cars has not diminished since then. Anyone with that kind of money from the NBA and Nike would do the same. However, he didn't own many of those cars for very long, which means that many of the cars Jordan owned are still on the road. One of them can now be yours: the 1991 BMW 850i of Michael Jordan who is for sale at Bring a Trailer.

The current owner bought the 1995 E31 850i and, between his ownership and Jordan's ownership, it has only covered 30,000 miles. To prove that some of those miles were done by the GOAT himself, the seller provides the relevant documentation with MJ's signature.

As for the car itself, it's about as fresh as an 8-series E31 can get. As an 850i, it carries a 5.0-litre V12 atmospheric V12 and this particular one has the optional six-speed manual transmission. Καθώς η BMW δεν είχε μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον για τα τετρακίνητα αυτοκίνητα στις αρχές των ’90s, το 850i στέλνει όλα τα 375 horses

and the torque 420 lb-ft only to the rear wheels. This car was also painted with paint Mauritius Blue and it had an interior color Light Parchment. It is not clear whether Jordan placed the body kit and the rims AC Carver, αλλά φαίνονται εξαιρετικές παρ’ όλα αυτά.

The BMW 850i is still today an impressive car that unfortunately suffered from some electrical malfunctions, so it wasn't the most reliable car. However, it was one of BMW's most interesting cars from its most exciting period. It has excellent looks, with its well-preserved design and superb 375-horsepower V12 engine and six-speed combination.

Currently, there are five days left in the auction and the current bid is $30.000 Dollars. Considering its low mileage, condition, great styling, interesting AC Schnitzer pieces and the NBA's top player as the first owner, I can imagine that this will break records auction for the E31 8 Series.
